Project Description

  • Supply and installation of water treatment equipment to service the water needs of the City of St. John's. Specialty systems installed included lime slurry systems, hydrogen bisulfate treatment, chlorine contact, and a lab analysis system.
  • Supply and installation of mechanical, piping, and electrical systems to support the installation of ozone and oxygen generation equipment. Specialty systems included ozone/oxygen generation, ozone destruct units, ozone bubbling systems, and specialized cleaning of oxygen piping systems.
  • Upgrade of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. This involved the installation of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to an existing water treatment plant so that the system could be operated and monitored from the main control room. Remote pumping stations and water chambers could then be operated and monitored from the control room.
