Sable Compression Platform
Client: DaeWoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. (DSME)Owner: Exxon Mobil Properties Limited
Through a sub-contract with DaeWoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co., GJ Cahill was responsible for the offshore hook-up and commissioning of the ExxonMobil operated Sable Gas Compression Platform for Eastern Canada's largest natural gas development offshore Nova Scotia.
The scope of work included the hook-up of all structural, piping, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation along with the insulation and coatings for the 7,500-tonne topsides and the multi-discipline commissioning and pre-start support for all the process and utility systems on the platform.
