GJ Cahill participated in all three phases of the construction of the Newfoundland Transshipment Terminal—a 3 million barrel crude oil storage and transshipment facility that supports the Hibernia and Terra Nova offshore oil fields. The terminal is located at Whiffen Head in Placentia Bay, Newfoundland.
The scope of work included all of the electrical and instrumentation work for the two loading piers, the tug basin, tank farm, field process equipment and associated site buildings.
