The Wuskwatim Generation Project is a joint venture between Manitoba Hydro and the Cree Nation at Taskingigup Falls in northern Manitoba. The project consists of three turbine units with a total generating output of 200 MW.
GJ Cahill's contract includes electrical, instrumentation and mechanical scopes of work. This contract involves providing a number of design, supply and install packages for the operation of the powerhouse management systems. The scope also involves the installation and pre-commissioning of the main switch gear, air system, lube oil system, fire suppression system and all ancillary components required for the operation of the generators.
